About Me

Jessica Frisina Bruno

I was born and raised in New York where I completed my university studies and began my career as a teacher. I worked in the New York Public School system as an English Language Arts teacher and later a Literacy & Reading Specialist with students who needed additional support in literacy based academics. In 2011 I moved to The Bahamas to be closer to my boyfriend (now, husband!). I became certified as a Primary Years Programme teacher and worked in the International School system as a 4th Grade Classroom Teacher. In 2013 we moved to Zurich for my husband's job. I continued my work as a PYP teacher in two Internationally Accredited schools working at the Early Childhood level and as a 4th Grade Teacher. 
My son, Luca, was born in July of 2018 and I took a small break from teaching before going back to continue working in Early Childhood. In May 2021 my daughter, Juliana, was born. That same year my son began kindergarten at the local public school and I got to experience, first hand, what it's like to be on the other side of the education system. 
I'm excited to be able to take my expertise and experience on a new journey as I continue to grow "Kind Tutoring".  Thanks for joining me on this journey!
