What sets your program apart from others in the area?
Kind Tutoring offers an inclusive, personalized learning experience for children of all ages and skill levels. Our unique programs, such as "Literacy Launchpad" and "Lunch & Literacy," provide tailored instruction and opportunities for social learning. We focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and a love for learning in a supportive community.
As a certified teacher with extensive qualifications and experience, and a native English speaker with English as my first language, I ensure that our curriculum meets high educational standards. Unlike other programs that may hire proficient, but sometimes non-native, speakers, Kind Tutoring guarantees quality instruction from a professional educator. This ensures your child receives the best possible education and support.
My child attends an English speaking/bilingual private school. How would your program further benefit them?
Even if your child is already attending a private or International School with English instruction, our workshops offer unique benefits to enhance their learning journey. At Kind Tutoring, I provide:
Personalized Attention: Small class sizes (5 students) ensure your child receives individualized support tailored to their specific needs.
Advanced Literacy Skills: Going beyond the basics to develop critical thinking, creative writing, and advanced comprehension skills.
Engaging Activities: My interactive sessions include fun games, exciting storytelling, and creative projects that make learning enjoyable.
Holistic Learning Environment: I create a nurturing and inclusive space where students feel confident to explore and express themselves.
Experienced Educator:As a former International School teacher and native English speaker, I bring expertise and innovative teaching methods to every session.
Do you offer classes during the weekends or school holidays?
At this time I do not offer classes when schools are closed as my own, young children are also home at this time.

What is Lunch & Literacy?
During the "Lunch & Literacy" course (12:30pm classes), children have the opportunity to bring a packed lunch to enjoy before the session begins. This informal setting encourages students to engage in conversations with their peers, fostering listening and speaking literacy skills in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a great way for children to socialize, build friendships, and enhance their communication abilities while having fun together. This session is one-hour long and priced accordingly.
What are your teaching methods and approaches to learning?
A holistic approach to learning will be prominent in all sessions. The method of teaching is dependent upon the age and needs of the child(ren). Initially, there is no set “program” used. Tutor will use their discretion to determine the best practice and pacing for all individuals involved.
Payment Options
Payment may be made when booking, directly on my site with credit card or after the first session using TWINT or with cash. Payments must be made in full.
What if my child is absent? Do you do makeup classes? Will I be reimbursed?
Depending on our agreement of schedule and payment options, I am happy to discuss re-scheduling.
Materials Needed
We will provide all materials (notebooks, writing utensils, learning materials). However, if your child is preparing for a specific exam or program, the cost of preparation materials will be the responsibility of the parents.
How will I know how and what my child is doing in class?
Upon attending their first class, each child will receive a personalized binder to serve as a dedicated space for storing materials utilized during our sessions. This binder will not only keep their resources organized but also serve as a tool for reinforcing learning at home. We strongly encourage parents to engage in discussions with their child about the contents of the binder, fostering continued learning and reinforcement of concepts outside of class.
I am happy to privately discuss your child’s progress at any time. We can do so through email or phone. However, depending on the age of the child, I prefer not to speak professionally about their ability and/or levels in front of them. I am happy to provide constructive feedback and forward planning (homework) with you and your child at the end of each session.
